SACRAMENTO KINGS RECALL TYLER HONEYCUTT

RENO, NEV.— The Sacramento Kings have recalled rookie forward Tyler Honeycutt from the Reno Bighorns.

Honeycutt (6-8, 188 lbs.) was assigned to the Bighorns on January 1, playing 10 games with the team. With the Bighorns, he averaged 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 12.7 minutes per game. His time in Reno was highlighted when he had 23 points and seven rebounds against the first place Austin Toros on January 15.

Honeycutt was drafted by the Kings in the second round (35th overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft. During two seasons at UCLA, he averaged 10.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 59 games. He played one game with the Kings during the regular season, scoring two points and grabbing one rebound in four minutes. In a preseason game against the Golden State Warriors, he scored six points in 19 minutes of action.
